Letter from BDO Chartered Accountants regarting audit of the School:

Our firm has completed the audit of the school council accounts of Monbulk Primary School for the year ended 31 December 2005 and our report on the financial statements is atttached.

The purpose of this management letter is to bring to the school council's attention any areas of control weaknesses noted during the audit, and to suggest possible improvements to procedures.

We have taken the opportunity to evaluate the internal controls within the school and are pleased to report that we observed few areas where we consider significant improvement in internal control procedures could be made. We would like to commend the staff on the efficient and orderly administration of the school's finances.

Audit Opinion

In our opinion, the financial report presents fairly in accordance with the cash basis of accounting, as described above, the reciepts and payments of Monulk Primary School for the year ended 31 December 2005 and its bank balances as at that date.
